Cashier/server

Responsibilities
• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service during their dining experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process transactions
• Handle cash, credit, and debit payments with confidence and accuracy, practicing proper cash handling procedures
• Upsell products and promote store specials or new items to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies as needed
• Assist with bussing tables, running food and providing great customer service
• Communicate effectively with customers using phone etiquette when answering inquiries or providing assistance
• Support team members by supervising or mentoring new cashiers when required, fostering a cooperative work environment

Things that are helpful:
• Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or counter-style restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions confidently
• Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service in a bilingual setting is a plus (English, Spanish and/or Korean is helpful!)
• Experience in cashiering, cash handling, and retail math is highly desirable
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bussing tables, and running food
• Knowledge of restaurant operations or retail sales transactions is beneficial
• Demonstrated phone etiquette skills and the ability to upsell products effectively
