Lead IT Support Engineer

Location: Onsite 5 days in Beachwood, NJ

Salary: $90-120k DOE

Position Overview
The Lead IT Support Engineer is responsible for overseeing the organization's technology infrastructure and ensuring the integrity, security, and performance of IT systems. This role involves coordinating technology projects, managing firewall and security, maintaining servers, and implementing best practices to support the organization's goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to enhance security and efficiency.
• Manage system administration tasks, including server updates and maintenance.
• Implement disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
• Oversee cloud service management and optimization.
• Provide ticket support and manage incident response to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate hardware setup and installation for new employees and departments.
• Maintain and monitor firewalls to protect network security.
• Administer and troubleshoot network systems to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT support and leadership.
• Experience in system administration and managing server updates.
• Proficiency in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and Microsoft services.
• Ability to provide effective technical support and manage tickets efficiently.
• Experience with hardware setup and configuration.
• Strong understanding of firewall maintenance and network administration principles.
• Knowledge of healthcare, EMR, or HIPAA compliance added bonus but not required.
