Job Title: Asset Management (AM) Clerk
Location: Lincoln Park, NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday,6 AM – 2:30 PM (30-minute unpaid lunch)
Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire (6 months, then eligible for permanent hire)

Job Summary:

The Asset Management (AM) Clerk will support the logistics and asset management teams by ensuring all incoming and outgoing shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. This role is responsible for verifying documentation, preparing shipments, updating inventory records, and assisting with related administrative tasks. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, dependable, and comfortable in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pull orders from inventory and prepare shipments

• Package orders and assemble shipping materials (e.g., boxes)

• Print shipping labels and sales invoices

• Update shipping and receiving spreadsheets with asset IDs, shipping prices, and order numbers

• Track inventory by marking assets as sold and assist with monthly physical inventory

• Process product returns and verify reported issues

• Scan and record incoming/outgoing items

• Receive, register, palletize, and process bulk untested materials

• Route all non-bulk products to testing as needed

• Respond to customer messages in a timely and professional manner

• Complete daily equipment checklists and report issues

• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area

• Recommend improvements for workflow efficiency and process enhancements

• Follow all safety and compliance protocols

Training & Work Environment:

• On-site training provided (video and hands-on)

• Daily team stretching to prevent injury

• PPE provided: mask, gloves, goggles, back brace

• Steel-toed boots required (must own or purchase before starting)

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred

• 2–5 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience preferred

Skills & Requirements:

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)

• Strong verbal communication skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. safely and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, reaching, and twisting

• Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Positive, professional attitude and willingness to learn

• English fluency required; bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
