Small 3rd Generation family-run Stainless Steel fitting manufacturer is seeking an experienced Class "A" Machinist to lead our manufacturing team. You will be managing 8-10 machine operators in the production of threaded stainless steel fittings. You will also be repairing and maintaining the shop equipment as needed, assisting machine operators with set-ups and troublshooting any production issues. The ideal candidate has exceptional attention to detail, previous experience in a manufacturing environment, and the ability to work well with minimal supervision. Qualifications
- Previous experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of manual machining including manual lathes, surface grinders and milling machine
- Greenlee multi-spindle screw machines. Warner and Swasey turret lathes and chucking machines
- NPT Threading of Stainless Steel
- The ability to use precision tools to take accurate measurements
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Manage and oversee 8-10 machine operators and all aspects of production shop
- Check final products for accuracy, and make adjustments to machines as needed to ensure the best final product
- Conduct basic maintenance and repairs on shop equipment
