We are seeking an Account Sales Representative to help us sell and promote our exciting new brands in the New Jersey cannabis market. Role Summary: The Account Sales Representative will drive revenue growth in the New Jersey cannabis market by developing and executing strategic sales plans, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role requires a dedicated professional who can build strong client relationships, adapt to market dynamics, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets while adhering to all legal and company guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Execution:

  • Execute targeted sales strategies for the New Jersey cannabis market, identify and pursue new sales opportunities while nurturing existing client relationships.

  • Present and promote company products, emphasizing their unique benefits and features.

  • Meet or exceed sales targets through effective closing techniques and follow-up.

Customer Service Excellence:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, providing responsive and professional support.

  • Anticipate client needs and proactively offer solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Address concerns or issues promptly and effectively ensuring high levels of client retention.

  • Conduct regular check-ins with clients to gather feedback and maintain strong relationships.

Compliance and Industry Awareness

  • Stay informed about cannabis industry regulations and ensure all sales activities comply with legal requirements

  • keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cannabis products and industry best practices.

Sales Process Optimization & Reporting:

  • Utilize CRM to track sales activities and maintain accurate records, analyze sales data and trends to provide regular performance reports to management

  • forecast future sales based on market analysis and historical data.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of sales experience in the cannabis industry or a related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, negotiation, presentation, and people skills.
  • Experience with sales strategy development, business development, partnership building, and sales forecasting.

  • Commitment to sound business practices, compliance, and quality standards.

  • Proficient in sales and CRM software.

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales performance metrics.

  • Capable of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Sales/Buyer Relationships in the NJ Cannabis Market Preferred

  • Willingness to use personal vehicle for travel within territory (travel expenses will be reimbursed)
