Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Medical/DME Fulfillment & Scheduling Clerk to support our durable medical equipment (DME) operations. This role is responsible for accurately fulfilling medical supply and equipment orders, coordinating patient delivery and installation schedules, assisting with product ordering, and supporting daily warehouse operations in a regulated healthcare environment.
- Pick, pack, and prepare DME and medical supply orders for shipment or delivery
- Verify patient orders for accuracy, completeness, and condition
- Schedule patient equipment deliveries and installations with internal technicians
- Communicate appointment details clearly with patients and team members
- Order products and supplies from approved vendors based on inventory needs
- Track backorders and communicate delays to management
- Receive, inspect, and restock incoming inventory
- Maintain accurate inventory and order records in the company system
- Assist with routine inventory counts and organization
- Ensure fulfillment areas remain clean, organized, and compliant
- Follow HIPAA, company policies, and safety procedures
- Communicate order discrepancies or scheduling conflicts promptly
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 20 lbs regularly
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb stairs for extended periods
- Ability to work in a warehouse or stockroom environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to perform occasional local driving
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable communicating with patients by phone
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic to intermediate PC proficiency
- Ability to navigate Windows-based systems
- Ability to use email, internet browsers, and standard office applications
- Ability to accurately enter and review data in inventory, ordering, and scheduling systems
- Ability to learn company-specific medical or DME software (training provided)
