Racking Maintenance and Repair Lead

Responsibilities:

• Install, relocate, and replace steel racking/cantilevers.
• Assemble various shelving systems including storage shelving, rack shelving, structural shelving, and steel shelving.
• Identify and replace damaged racking components.
• Transfer products from old to new racking setups.
• Assist with additional tasks when not engaged in racking projects.

We seek candidates with the following skills:

• Mechanical aptitude or experience in racking installation and demolition.
• Proficiency with hand tools, cordless power tools, and mechanical assembly tools for handling materials and fasteners.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and uphold job quality according to established mechanical and safety standards.
• Capability to operate order pickers, forklifts, and scissor lifts, or willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working at heights of up to 20 feet and climbing ladders.
• Ability to lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation is essential.
• Availability for travel within local and surrounding states as required.
• Flexibility to work during days, nights, and weekends based on the schedule.
• Proficiency in reading diagrams such as blueprints and RIGs.
• Strict adherence to all safety policies at all times.
