Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in inpatient care in Westwood, New Jersey. This role involves providing speech-language pathology services to primarily geriatric and post-operative patients within an ICU/IMC unit, with a focus on assessments, therapy, and patient education.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Start Date: 07/27/2026
• Required Qualifications: One year of experience supporting speech-language pathology services, current BLS certification, CCC-SLP certification, and Modified Barium Swallow qualification. New Jersey state license must be obtained prior to start.
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics, primarily post-operative ACDF, pneumonia, CHF, COPD, and falls.
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: ICU/IMC unit; support includes assessments, dysphagia management, modified barium swallow studies, and patient/family education.
• Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, Modified Barium Swallow.
• Additional Information: The role involves conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, interpreting results, and managing patients with neurogenic and degenerative speech and swallowing disorders. All required onboarding and modules should be completed onsite during orientation.
• Travel & Licensing: A state or compact license must be in hand at time of submittal. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not accepted. All previous staff must wait at least one year before returning as travelers.
