Office Manager

Our client is a consulting firm seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations at their waterfront Jersey City office. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys leading a team.

You'll manage administrative staff, coordinate with vendors, maintain office systems, and ensure a productive and professional work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
  • Supervise and support a team of administrative assistants
  • Manage office supply inventory and vendor relationships
  • Coordinate building maintenance and facility requests
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures
  • Assist with onboarding new employees and office orientation
  • Track office budgets and process invoices
  • Plan company meetings, events, and team activities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in office management or administrative leadership
  • Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools
  • Experience managing budgets and working with vendors
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
