Office Manager
Our client is a consulting firm seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations at their waterfront Jersey City office. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and enjoys leading a team.
You'll manage administrative staff, coordinate with vendors, maintain office systems, and ensure a productive and professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
- Supervise and support a team of administrative assistants
- Manage office supply inventory and vendor relationships
- Coordinate building maintenance and facility requests
- Develop and implement office policies and procedures
- Assist with onboarding new employees and office orientation
- Track office budgets and process invoices
- Plan company meetings, events, and team activities
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in office management or administrative leadership
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools
- Experience managing budgets and working with vendors
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
