Seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Assistant with excellent communication and organizational skills. A qualified candidate will work closely with the warehouse and order fulfillment team to ship all products and activities for the Receiving, Returns, and Pick/Pack Operation. This is a physical and fast-paced position.

The position will involve but not be limited to the following duties:

Pick Orders

Pick order tickets and process them by completing any required paperwork, locating items in the warehouse, moving them to the processing and shipping area accurately.

Pack Orders

Pack orders and prepare them to be shipped. They must inspect the items to ensure that they’re not damaged or missing any parts, and package them according to specifications.

Maintain Inventory & Warehouse

The Warehouse Assistant helps the Warehouse Manager in maintaining warehouse inventory by arranging boxes and ensures they’re stored in a way that they won’t be damaged. They’re also often responsible for maintaining general cleanliness in the warehouse.

Skills:
The Warehouse Assistant should be detail-oriented, a problem-solver who can think quantitatively and notice defects and errors quickly. When problems arise, they must be able to act quickly and decisively. In order to be successful, the warehouse assistant should have strong communication skills and able to work as a team member with a wide variety of people in the supply chain.

• Having basic mathematical abilities
• Demonstrating verbal and written communication skills
• Being proficient in basic computer applications
• Being able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
• Inspect and verify inbound and outbound product
• Maintain inventory levels by conducting physical counts
• Keep warehouse clean and organized
• Follow all safety rules and policies set forth by the company

Education and/or Experience:
-2-3 years warehouse experience
-High-volume distribution management
-Proven track record
-Proficient in Microsoft Office
