- Plan weekly lessons, organize materials, and order approved program supplies during Friday planning time.
- Adapt quickly when plans change while maintaining consistency and participant engagement.

- High school diploma or equivalent; 18+
- Ongoing supervision under the BCBA per BACB requirements (typically ~5% of monthly hours)
- Current CPR / First Aid certification
- Crisis-prevention / de-escalation certification (CPI, Safety-Care, or equivalent) — ties directly to the Safety & Incident Response Framework, Section C
- Criminal background check — also flagged as an open question for legal counsel in the GED & Regulatory Research Summary, Section 8; confirm New Jersey's specific requirement rather than assuming

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
Preferred
- Experience working with adolescents
- Experience leading small groups
- CPI, Safety-Care, or similar crisis prevention certification
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, Special Education, Human Services, or a related field
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Can confidently lead a classroom and "command the room."
- Is warm, supportive, and encouraging while maintaining clear expectations and boundaries.
- Is proactive, dependable, and highly organized.
- Can think on their feet and adjust when plans change.
- Believes every adolescent can succeed with the right structure and support.
- Wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of teens.
