The Senior Accountant will perform general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, backup to Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), fixed assets, account reconciliations and analyses, assistance with month and year-end closings, consolidations, and reporting.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, reports, and records by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Conduct fixed asset processing and reporting
• Maintain cash log and reconciliations of bank statements
• Perform state sales tax reports and returns
• Implement cash management and forecasting which includes weekly consolidated models
• Perform financial and profitability analysis on a requested basis
• Provide support to Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll processing
• Create documentation and enforcement of internal controls
• Compile and support external auditors' requests for information and documentation
• Facilitate, coordinate, and complete monthly close and reconciliations
• Assist with financial and tax audits

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a minimum 5 years of relevant, progressive accounting experience.
• Ability to present clear determined findings and recommendation verbally and written
• Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Microsoft Suite experience(advanced level Excel)
• Accuracy in daily work and other projects
• Meet schedules and deadlines
• Adherence to policies, procedures, and instructions.
