• Location: Summit, Wisconsin 53066 – Conveniently located in Waukesha County, offering access to outdoor recreation and local amenities.
• Healthcare Setting: Outpatient OBGYN Clinic (24-30 beds)
• Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract Registered Nurse position)
• Start Date: September 8, 2025
• End Date: December 6, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $2820 - $2900
• Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week OR Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 7:30am-5:00pm with a half day on Tuesday
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8 Hour Days
• Weekends/Holidays: No weekends or major holidays; half day on Christmas Eve, work NYE (not New Year's Day)
• Scrub Color: Any solid color (no graphics or designs)
• Parking: Free on-site parking

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license (Registered Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) certification
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 1 year in OBGYN or women's health
• Experience with EMR systems; EPIC preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams

OBGYN RN Responsibilities

• Rooming OB patients and assisting with early OB workups, viability assessments, and growth scans
• Providing clinical support for high-risk pregnancies (multiples, diabetes, hypertension, etc.)
• Managing GYN patients with menstrual disorders, infections, reproductive health conditions, cancer-related diagnoses, and menopausal issues
• Delivering contraceptive management and family planning education
• Handling in-basket management, phone triage, and medication refills
• Chaperoning and assisting with in-office gynecological procedures
• Collaborating with assigned providers and supporting the healthcare team as needed
• Occasional floating to nearby OBGYN clinics within the Wisconsin healthcare network
