About the role

Location: Parsipanny/Nutley
We are looking for a hard-working, highly motivated Sr Accounting Analyst to join our accounting team! You will play a key role in the Controllership department. In this role, you will be responsible for taking ownership of various workstreams within the controllership organization, with a focus on benefits accounting, employee related expenses, and weekly/semi-monthly payroll entries. Supporting accounting activities for North America Market. This role offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within a high-energy organization. Role will be reporting directly to the to the NA Accounting Manager.

Your responsibilities

• Month-end journal entries (payroll, benefits, deferred comp, APP)
• Account reconciliations (pension, payroll, fringe benefits)
• Monitor benefit usage
• Balance sheet flux analysis and presentation
• Statutory reporting and transfer pricing adjustments
• Quarterly government reporting
• Support budgeting and forecasting
• Maintain and test internal controls
• Liaise with auditors
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis

The experience we're looking for

Candidate should have a solid understanding of benefits activities along with functional knowledge in the following areas:

• BS degree in finance or accounting preferred.

  Working knowledge of SAP, MS Office Products and Blackline

  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.

  Ability to work well under pressure and to work to deadlines.

US salary ranges

USD $104,000.00 - $156,000.00

US pay transparency

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
