About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Tele / PCU / Stepdown RN in Pompton Plains, New Jersey, 07444!

Primary Shift:

7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12‑hour Night Shifts)

Days Per Week:

3 shifts per week (36 hrs/week)

Shift Type:

PM / Night Shift

Guaranteed Hours:

Yes – 36 hours per week

Floating Requirements:

May float as needed to:

Responsibilities

• Collect complete health history from patient, family, and medical records.
• Perform and document admission assessments within required timelines.
• Complete Braden Scale accurately and reassess patient needs regularly.
• Develop individualized, age‑appropriate plans of care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Update and revise care plans based on changes in patient condition.
• Prioritize and perform direct patient care safely and effectively.
• Delegate tasks appropriately according to caregiver skill level.
• Coordinate care using an interdisciplinary approach.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

Licensure & Certifications

• Valid NJ RN License (Required)
• BLS – Required
• ACLS – Required
• PCCN – Preferred

Experience

• 1–2 years experience in Cardiac/Telemetry
• 1–2 years Acute Care experience
• Proficiency in basic dysrhythmia interpretation

Education

• BSN preferred; or currently enrolled in a BSN program.
