You would be responsible for helping to design and implement our multiple user interfaces, their supporting libraries and modules, and back-end API work. You will join a small but rapidly growing team and participate in developing, maintaining, and delivering our core SaaS platform. We are committed to your personal growth and development.

You have recent experience implementing solutions using cutting-edge technologies such as JavaScript/Typescript/Angular/React, Postgres, and Node.js.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with a team of like-minded engineers to bring new platforms to the market

• Own the technical design and development of front-end applications in a test-driven development environment

• Utilize programming languages like JavaScript (React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and open-source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross-browser and cross-device development

• Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions that will bring waste and recycling to the next level

Requirements

Technical Skills

• Professional experience with JavaScript/Typescript/Single Page Applications
• Professional integration with RESTful APIs
• Ability to integrate with Elasticsearch and run queries/reports
• Professional experience with Node.js for both scripting and API development
• Ability to apply principles of Test-Driven Development
• Experience with writing test cases

Nice to Have Skills

• NoSQL or SQL database experience
• Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipeline tools, workflow tools, Jenkins, etc.
• Golang experience a plus
• AI/Machine Learning experience a plus
• Experience in integrating applications with Redis/Memcached

Personal Skills

• A passion for building software and streamlining process issues

• Demonstrate tenacity when solving challenging problems in a deadline-driven environment

• Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies

• Able to be self-motivated and work independently as needed to solve complex problems

• Taking pride in work and the desire to make projects succeed

Benefits

• Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000
