Location: Parsippany, NJ
Type: Direct Hire - full time permanent direct with our client
Compensation: $135,000.00 - $170,000.00
Work Model: Hybrid – onsite Tuesday and Thursday

This is an opportunity to work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive both external and internal communications initiatives across a fast-paced, highly visible environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of integrated corporate communications strategies that support company priorities, pipeline milestones, and brand positioning.
- Manage media relations activities, including drafting press releases, building relationships with healthcare and industry media, and supporting proactive outreach.
- Translate complex scientific, clinical, and corporate data into accessible messaging for diverse stakeholders including media, investors, healthcare professionals, and patients.
- Design and implement internal communications initiatives to promote company culture, organizational alignment, and change management efforts.
- Support crisis and issues management by preparing communication strategies and materials for sensitive situations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, HR, Commercial, and Executive teams to ensure compliant and aligned messaging.
- Partner with executive leadership to develop presentations, speeches, and leadership messaging to enhance corporate reputation and visibility.
- Monitor media coverage and industry trends to identify opportunities and mitigate reputational risks.
- Support communications related to clinical milestones, regulatory updates, corporate announcements, and scientific presentations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 5–8+ years of experience in corporate communications within biotech, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, or related fields.
- Proven ability to support corporate reputation, executive communications, media relations, and internal initiatives.
- Experience translating complex scientific and clinical data into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of communications within a regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environment.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including Legal, Regulatory, Medical Affairs, and Leadership.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, media monitoring tools, collaboration platforms, and digital communication channels.
- Ability to independently develop high-quality PowerPoint presentations with structured flow.
- Travel up to 10% domestically for meetings, conferences, and events.
