Software Developer

Role Overview
Accordant is growing its software development team, and we’re looking for a skilled Software Developer to help shape the future of our technology. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that integrate with backend accounting systems. You’ll collaborate closely with product management, sales, and customer success teams to ensure our technology aligns with business needs and market opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software solutions with a focus on performance and security.


• I ntegrate with backend accounting databases using XML and REST APIs.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.


• Conduct code reviews, debug applications, and optimize performance.


• Contribute to architectural decisions that support scalability and long-term growth.


• Implement automated testing and continuous integration to maintain high software quality.


• Stay current with emerging technologies and advocate for best practices in development.

Qualifications
Must-Have:

• 5+ years of experience in software development.


• Proficiency in JavaScript/HTML.


• Experience with backend development, including T-SQL, XML, and REST APIs.


• Familiarity with OAuth, asynchronous JavaScript, and modern authentication mechanisms.


• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Nice-to-Have:

• Experience with Kendo UI.


• Experience with Azure Functions and cloud-based development.


• Knowledge of GAAP accounting principles


• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
