Bookkeeper

eMazzanti Technologies is a dynamic and growing company dedicated to helping customers achieve their goals through technology. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced in-house bookkeeper to join our team and help manage our financial records with precision and integrity. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments. 
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. 
• Prepare and process payroll, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. 
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing and collections. 
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports. 
• Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. 
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. 
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation. 
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications:

Core qualifications:

• 2–5 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop, as applicable).
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank and credit card reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and support month-end close.
• Comfortable working with small business owners and handling multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and confidentiality.
• High level of integrity and confidentiality.
• Candidate should be located in NJ.

Preferred:

• Bookkeeping or accounting certification (a plus, not required)
