The Cheese Cave is looking for Cheesemongers!

The Cheese Cave is a retail specialty cheese shop and cafe in Red Bank dedicated to promoting the world of of artisan cheese and specialty food. Our cheesemonger will learn about great cheese and share that knowledge with the community in a work environment that is fun and social. This position will encompass a variety of skills including but not limited to delivering a great customer experience through food preparation and service, retail sales, merchandising and cash handling.

The Cheese Cave offers a varying inventory of over 100 cheeses with a focus on American Artisans supported by European favorites. The mission of the Cheese Cave is to promote a broader appreciation of the cheese world and hosts a Cheese Sampling weekly, every Friday evening as well as hosting a series of educational cheese classes throughout the year. The Cheese Cave seeks out unique products that emphasize the true meaning of artisanal; traditional small production of high quality ingredients. The Cheese Cave host a a variety of cheese education classes throughout the year. Specific classes can be found on the website calendar of events and require advance registration. The Cheese Cave is also a perfect place to host a private event! Birthday parties, showers, client appreciation are just a few that people choose to host at The Cheese Cave. A classical trained chef and graduate of the French Culinary Institute, owner Stephen Catania has brought his 25 years experience as a Chef, Restauranteur, Private Caterer and Hotel Executive to his boutique shop and strives to provide a warm, personalized and informative experience to each and every patron of The Cheese Cave.
