Sourcing Coordinator BASIC FUNCTION:

The Sourcing Coordinator will support the purchasing team by managing all material sourcing and approval processes.

Sourcing Coordinator SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Work with PD on sku rationalization
• Work with regulatory on internal specification sheets
• Lead sourcing projects
• Analyze buying patterns and estimate volumes
• Negotiate prices and compare quotes
• Request and retain samples and documentation
• Over-see the evaluation process
• Support Supplier Qualification Program
• Keep organized and up to date notes on status of pending projects

Sourcing Coordinator KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Knowledge of Supply Chain processes: Procurement, Supply & Demand Planning
• Self-motivated individual with high level of ownership, accountability, and sense of urgency
• Analytical skills with a high-level of attention to detail and business processes
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, including preparing and presenting information
• Strong organization skills, ability to evaluate data, prioritize.
• Strong customer service ethic
• Computer proficient (Microsoft Office, Excel)
• Communication and creative thinking skills
• Intelligent risk taking

Sourcing Coordinator Minimum Education Required:

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, procurement, supply chain management, business management or another relevant field.
• CPM or CPSM a plus
• Experience in the Health/Supplements sector a plus
• Experience with ERP (SAP) or procurement/supply chain management software
• Ability to work comfortably with Microsoft Office software, specifically, Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Minimum Years' Experience Required:

• 3 years Sound knowledge of Supply Chain processes and procedures: MRP planning, Procurement, Supply & Demand Planning.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
