Director Human ResourcesWhat does a successful Director, Human Resources do? As an innovative business partner, a successful Director of Human Resources collaborates with the Financial Institutions Group Technology team to develop and implement people strategies. Utilizing HR domain expertise, effective communication, and strong analytical skills, partners with business leaders to achieve strategic business results while fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment.
What you will do:
- Partner with senior leaders, managers, and front-line supervisors to identify and build organizational capabilities.
- Serve as a liaison to managers, associates, and various levels of senior management to interpret policies and procedures.
- Support the success of the organization's strategic plan through talent management initiatives.
- Coach and counsel leaders on employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and performance management efforts.
- Drive and direct challenging conversations with associates and leadership.
- Manage Employee Relations by performing data analysis and implementing preventative solutions.
- Initiate workforce analysis and organization design activities to align with business goals.
- Ensure change management activities within the business are managed professionally and lawfully.
- Communicate core HR processes clearly to managers and associates within your client groups.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of relevant experience in a Human Resources Function
- Experience in employee relations and performance management.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field and/or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience using MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- 8+ years of experience creating presentations using MS PowerPoint.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP, or other recognized HR certifications.
- Experience in a matrixed environment overseeing multiple client groups.
- Proven track record in improving organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.

Salary Range
$136,000.00 - $225,600.00These pay ranges apply to employees in New Jersey, New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
