To qualify for this Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Recovery) position at the IC-13 level, you must possess one full year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the IC-12 level in the Federal government, which has equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. Experience may be obtained in the federal government, a state or local government, or private sector, and must demonstrate the following: Leading teams in the delivery of disaster assistance programs including identifying staff priorities and monitoring progress Researching, analyzing, and developing resolutions for disaster recovery operations; and Delivering disaster assistance by coordinating with federal, tribal, territorial, state, or local governments. This position will serve as Section Chief throughout different branches within the Recovery Division. The Recovery Divisions mission is to deliver disaster grants and services that support the recovery and resiliency of survivors and communities before, during, and after disasters.
