Summary of job:

This position is based in Elizabeth, NJ 07201 and its 100% onsite.

Project

• Integrated project within an existing facility – complexity requires cross-functional coordination.
• US Government grant for decarbonization efforts – adds regulatory and technical requirements.
• Strong union environment – requires alignment with labor practices.
• Significant IT, process, and systems transformation expected.

Key Focus Areas ("3 Pillars"):

1. Construction: Concrete, steel, and physical infrastructure.
2. Business Integration: Change management, operational continuity, and stakeholder alignment.
3. Project Controls: Schedule, cost management, and consistent project governance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead requirements management and system engineering efforts .
• Capture, structure, and manage requirements from multiple stakeholders .
• Ensure business needs are translated into verifiable, traceable system requirements .
• Work closely with project controls, engineering, and IT teams.
• Use Relatics software to manage requirements documentation and system design.

Required Experience:

• Strong background in Systems Engineering and Requirements Management .
• Hands-on experience with Relatics software or similar requirements management tool (IBM doors).
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure or terminal projects is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to work in complex, integrated environments with active construction and operations.
• Exposure to change management , project governance , and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Comfortable navigating unionized environments and government-funded projects .
• Multi-disciplinary project experience.'

A reasonable, good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base salary for this position is $110 K to $128 K per year
