Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. This role involves planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs. The nurse will identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized plans of care for assigned patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
• Initiate assessment based on the patient’s problems or needs and the physician’s medical diagnosis.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of patients.
• Document care based on standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of innovations in care delivery.
• Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.

Schedule

This position operates on a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, three times a week, providing 36 hours of guaranteed work each week.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related specialty.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification must be from AHA.
