Founded in 1980, Sullivan Steel is a niche metals distributor supporting highly specialized industries, including Aerospace and Defense. We’re excited to add an Inside Sales Specialist to our growing team as we continue to expand and evolve.

This is an excellent opportunity for a quick thinker who enjoys problem-solving, working with technical details, and building strong customer relationships within a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers by responding to inbound RFQs, answering questions via phone and email, and moving opportunities quickly through the sales process.
• Manage the quote‐to‐order sales process using strategic pricing and accurate ERP/CRM data to support sales performance and customer satisfaction.
• Work cross functionally to answer questions regarding availability and timelines to keep customers proactively informed.
• Learn about the global steel supply chain and marketplace while developing strong technical and commercial knowledge in various industries.
  

What We’re Looking Fo r

• Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or Metal Industry experience a plus
• 2 to 4 years of full cycle sales experience required, Customer service &/or Account Management experience
• Strong Math and Excel skills to develop accurate pricing, analyze quotes, and evaluate profit margins to support competitive and profitable sales decisions
• Strong communication and attention to detail
• Comfortable working with technical specifications, pricing models, and within an ERP/CRM system
• Reliable, service-minded, and eager to learn
