EVS Supervisor

Overview:

As an EVS Supervisor you are responsible for leading the team of cleaning staff to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in various areas.

Responsibilities:

• Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
• Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
• Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
• Responsible for the overall daily cleaning needs of the casino/hotel.
• Schedules staff on respective shifts and assigns daily chores.
• Can recommend hiring or terminating in conjunction with disciplinary action.
• Trains line employees.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Environmental Services management.
• If in the process of performing duties access to RESTRICTED areas is needed, appropriate security escort will be provided.
• Performs any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Should be familiar with cleaning equipment and chemicals
• . Two (2) years supervisory experience in environmental services or housekeeping preferred
• Good organizational and communication skills required.
