• Provide individual psychotherapy to patients with neurological conditions, with a focus on the
• Parkinson’s disease population, addressing emotional, behavioral, and psychosocial needs.
• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans to
• support patients and their families.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions tailored to support neurological condition-specific patient
• populations, fostering community and emotional resilience.
• Develop and implement community outreach programs to raise awareness, educate the public, and
• build support for neurological conditions, particularly Parkinson’s disease.
• Collaborate with patient advocacy councils to align services with patient needs and enhance
• community support networks.
• Prepare and submit grant applications to secure funding from the Parkinsons Council in order to
• supplement funding
• Serve as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive
• care and effective communication.

Minimum 2-3 years counseling or psychotherapy experience preferred Experience in behavioral health as a clinical provider (biopsychosocial evaluations and psychotherapy). Experience in a group treatment modality a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Master’s degree in Social Work

NJ Social Work License (LSW) required Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required
