Key Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs variances and profitability.
• Develop and maintain standard costs for materials labor and overhead.
• Manage inventory valuation including work-in-process and finished goods.
• Prepare detailed cost reports budget vs. actual analyses and performance metrics.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities related to production costs.
• Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and process improvements.
• Reconcile inventory accounts and ensure accuracy of cost data within the ERP system.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-5 years of progressive experience in cost accounting preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and cost accounting principles including standard costing and variance analysis.
• Experience with inventory valuation BOM analysis and production reporting.
• Ability to analyze complex financial data and prepare accurate timely reports.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with specific manufacturing ERP modules (e.g. SAP CO/PP Oracle EBS Manufacturing)
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau)
• Advanced Excel skills (VBA Power Query Power Pivot)
