Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' communication abilities, including speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills.
Treatment Planning : Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and patient needs.
Therapy Sessions : Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to address speech disorders, language skills, and swallowing difficulties.
Collaboration : Work with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and educators, to ensure cohesive and integrated care for patients.
Education and Counseling : Educate patients, families, and caregivers about communication disorders and provide guidance on therapy techniques and home exercises.
Documentation : Maintain detailed records of patient assessments, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
