Job Title: Commercial Legal Assistant

Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Commercial Legal Assistant to join our client to support a busy corporate and commercial real estate practice in Moorestown, NJ. This direct-hire role involves partnering with experienced attorneys on the preparation and coordination of complex legal transactions, including deeds, closings, and land use applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and document management skills, ensuring that legal files, billing, and communications are handled accurately and efficiently.

Compensation:
$55,000 – $60,000 annually

Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities of the Commercial Legal Assistant:
• Support attorneys in all stages of commercial real estate and corporate transactions, including document drafting, preparation, and finalization.
• Coordinate and prepare closing documents, deeds, and closing binders while communicating with title companies, lenders, and clients.
• Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and manage time and billing records accurately.
• Organize and maintain digital and physical case files using legal document management systems.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth transaction flow and timely project completion.

Qualifications and Skills for the Commercial Legal Assistant:
• At least 3 years of experience in commercial real estate or corporate law required.
• Knowledge of deed preparation and filing processes; familiarity with CSC Global preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel) and iManage document management system.
• Experience using legal billing platforms such as TABS3 or Centerbase is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.
