Field Sales Representative NYC
- Be the face of the company. Be “the local” our customers know and trust.
- Be the salesperson, the trouble shooter, and the answer for customer needs.
- Attain sales budgets as assigned on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
- Get customer “touches in person, via telephone, and email” Recommend promotional products and new products to grow your customers.
- Understand your Audience: Develop and maintain pricing structures that make sense for our business.
- Own your Market area! Know the competition and design strategies to win.
- Recommend service improvements, by being an expert in your area.
- Selling quality food to existing and new accounts within your territory
- Provide strong attention to detail & account management skills while managing a large portfolio.
- Collect accounts receivable from customers, when necessary, communicate with finance and sales management & follow through to ensure company collection requirements are met while maintaining solid customer relations through the collections process.
- Report out on daily metrics.
• A self-starter with a competitive personality and a sales background
• High school diploma or Equivalent
• College degree or equivalent education and/or experience preferred
• Excellent sales skills
• Strong planning, communication & organizing ability.
• Bilingual Spanish/English is desired
• Outside sales experience or industry experience with a proven record of success
• A valid state driver's license, ability to be insured, bonded and a satisfactory driving record along with reliable transportation (reimbursable) is required.
Note: This is a home based outside sales position. Employees will be required to report to the Yonkers Warehouse daily for a check in (daily management) and then visit 10-15 customers per day.
Experience required: 2+ years of successful, proven outside sales and/or tangible Food Service experience will be considered.
Minimum 40+hours/week – Must be available on call, in addition, to triage the emergency service needs of your new and assigned existing business accounts.
Must live within easy daily commute of the assigned territory and Yonkers Warehouse.
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications. Quarterly
