Sales Team Member

Job Summary:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Services & Sales Associate to join our aquarium team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service while promoting ticket sales, memberships, and premium experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to create a welcoming environment that encourages guests to make the most of their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Sell daily admission tickets, memberships, and premium experiences such as animal encounters, tours, and special events.
• Actively upsell and recommend products, packages, and experiences to enhance guest visits.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Provide accurate information about exhibits, programs, and events.
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals.
• Resolve guest concerns or direct them to the appropriate team member.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, membership benefits, and special offerings.
• Assist with membership renewals and guest follow-up as needed.
• Ensure the sales area, kiosks, and entry points are clean, organized, and welcoming.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail, sales, or customer service with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong interpersonal, persuasion, and communication skills.
• Comfort with upselling and promoting premium products or experiences.
• Ability to build rapport quickly and deliver an exceptional guest experience.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic about achieving sales targets.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
• Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays
