Job Description
The Quality Control Technician performs final inspection of finished goods in accordance with established procedures, documents inspection results in the applicable quality system, and supports product release activities. This role is part of a dynamic team that interfaces closely with the product release and packaging departments to help ensure seamless product flow and timely delivery. The Quality Control Technician also contributes to problem-solving efforts, including nonconformance investigations, rework, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform final inspection of products in accordance with established procedures, including visual inspections and final packaging checks, to ensure labeling, packaging, inserts, and other components conform to applicable quality standards and product specifications.
- Accurately document final product inspection results in the applicable quality system to determine product acceptability for use or transfer to the next stage of release.
- Notify management of any nonconformance to product specifications and support related investigations. Ensure item or product disposition is conducted in accordance with established nonconformance and quality procedures.
- Properly segregate, store, and quarantine finished goods in designated quality hold areas, ensuring all items are accurately labeled to reflect their status.
- Document, execute, and track rework activities for nonconforming products, ensuring all associated records are complete, accurate, and maintained in accordance with established procedures and quality requirements.
- Support management with cross-functional projects, reporting, and performance metrics as needed to drive operational effectiveness and continuous improvement.
- Attend and actively participate in meetings, contribute insights, escalating issues appropriately, and supporting timely resolution of operational priorities.
- Maintain safety first culture by consistently following established safety practices and actively seek opportunities to improve safety.
Qualifications
- Minimum High School graduate; Bachelor's or Associate's degree desired
- 2+ years of overall experience in Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering
- Knowledge of GMP regulations and standards affecting pharmaceutical products
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail
- Good interpersonal relations/communications skills
- Must be available to work daily overtime, including weekends, as needed
Preferred
- 1+ years experience in inspections of GMP manufactured products with in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is highly desired
- 5 years experience in a Manufacturing and/or Finishing and/or Packaging environment
- 2 years experience in Batch Record Release

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off (vacation, holidays, sick), medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
