We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Floor Manager who understands that great hospitality is intentional, structured, and led from the front.
The RoleThe Floor Manager is responsible for leading service, setting the tone on the floor, and ensuring a consistently excellent guest experience. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in service, leads calmly under pressure, and holds teams to high standards.
You are the bridge between guests, the team, and leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead service with confidence and control
Manage the dining room flow, reservations, seating, and pacing
Maintain service standards, cleanliness, and presentation at all times
Support and coach FOH staff during service
Handle guest feedback and resolve issues professionally
Communicate clearly with kitchen and bar teams
Ensure opening, closing, and side work standards are followed
Uphold Lokal’s culture, values, and brand on every shift
What You’ll Be Responsible For Service & Guest Experience
Lead the floor during service with confidence, calm, and control
Ensure every guest feels welcomed, cared for, and remembered
Resolve guest concerns with empathy and professionalism
Maintain consistent service standards across all shifts
Anticipate issues before they become problems
Team Leadership
Lead servers, hosts, bartenders, and support staff with clarity and respect
Coach in real time — correcting gently, reinforcing standards consistently
Hold staff accountable to appearance, punctuality, and performance
Support training of new hires and ongoing development of the team
Be a role model — how you show up sets the tone for everyone
Operational Excellence
Manage reservations, table pacing, and seating strategy
Coordinate closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service flow
Monitor cleanliness, table resets, side work, and closing duties
Ensure SOPs, checklists, and standards are followed every shift
Communicate clearly with ownership and senior leadership
Ownership Mindset
Protect the guest experience, the team culture, and the brand
Bring ideas, solutions, and improvements — not just problems
Understand that leadership is consistency
2–5+ years of restaurant management or senior FOH leadership experience
Strong service instincts and a genuine love for hospitality
Ability to lead with warmth, clarity, and accountability
Calm, organized, and decisive during busy services
Detail-oriented and standards-driven
Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
