Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical Surgical Telemetry or acute care nursing
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in the Medical Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and interpret cardiac telemetry readings for acute care patients
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and discharge instructions
