Pay + Benefits

  • Pay: Starting $19.00, overtime eligible

About the Role

The Team Coordinator (also referred to as Floater) is a flexible field support role responsible for performing cleaning duties, supporting service continuity, and assisting with supply and material logistics across multiple customer sites. This team member provides essential coverage by filling in for absent staff and helping to maintain consistent service levels. In addition to performing cleaning tasks, the Team Coordinator monitors and restocks inventory, transports supplies, and collects items such as mop heads and cleaning cloths for laundering. In addition to routine coverage and support duties, this role assists with special projects such as carpet cleaning, floor care, and other periodic services.

Key Responsibilities

Service Support and Coverage

  • Lead by example
  • Perform cleaning tasks at various customer sites as assigned, filling in for absent team members or supporting locations with additional staffing needs.
  • Follow site-specific cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and in accordance with company standards.
  • Work a variable schedule, including different shifts and locations depending on operational needs and coverage requirements.
  • Maintain flexibility to adjust daily priorities in coordination with the Account Manager.
  • Assist with special projects, existing experience not necessary

Training and Support

  • Assist with the onboarding and hands-on training of new cleaners at various sites by demonstrating proper cleaning methods, safe equipment use, and adherence to company standards.
  • Reinforce site-specific procedures and serve as a point of support for new or temporary staff.
  • Communicate any training needs or performance concerns observed during assignments to the Account Manager.

Inventory & Supply Support

  • Check inventory levels at assigned sites and communicate restocking needs to the Account Manager.
  • Deliver and distribute cleaning supplies, paper products, and other consumables to customer sites as needed.
  • Maintain supply closets in an organized and secure manner to support efficient and compliant site operations.

Equipment & Material Handling

  • Collect used mop heads, towels, and other launderable items from customer locations according to the designated schedule.
  • Assist with the laundering and redistribution of these materials to ensure each site has clean supplies available.
  • Report damaged or malfunctioning equipment and assist with basic care and upkeep as needed.

Site Readiness & Safety

  • Ensure assigned areas are cleaned, secured, and properly locked when working closing shifts.
  • Follow all safety guidelines, including the use of PPE, proper chemical handling, and safe equipment operation.
  • Maintain compliance with all site-specific protocols and company standards while working at different facilities.

Reporting & Technology Use

  • Complete basic reports or checklists as directed by the Account Manager, such as shift completion logs or supply tracking forms.
  • Use mobile apps or inspection tools (if provided) to document service or communicate with the operations team.
  • Participate in brief team meetings or huddles to review priorities and share updates.
  • Ensure that required documentation such as training logs, safety records, and attendance logs are maintained and accessible.

Qualifications

  • 18+ years old
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation (or ability to consistently get to the job sites)
  • Stable work history showing reliability and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to follow checklists, instructions, and quality standards
  • Attendance an punctuality are essential

Technology and Communication Requirements

To track time and attendance and communicate with supervisors, you must have:
  • A working smartphone with a data plan
  • Ability to download and use a mobile app (iOS or Android)
  • Mobile app time keeping is mandatory
  • Comfort communicating with supervisors by phone/text/app as needed

Language Requirements

  • Ability to read basic words/numbers and follow simple written instructions
  • Ability to speak and write simple sentences in English

Physical Requirements and Work Environment

  • Standing/walking for most of the shift (4 - 8 hours)
  • Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, and lifting
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs
  • Work includes use of cleaning chemicals and PPE

  • You are not comfortable using a smartphone app for timekeeping
