Little Silver Bottle Shop is a full-service wine, craft beer & artisan spirits shop. We have been conveniently located in downtown Little Silver since 1944. We are seeking a Sales Associate to join our team for evenings and weekends and weekdays. Up to 40 hours available. Ideal candidate will be local to Monmouth County, have retail experience, ability to learn on the job, willingness to accept increasing responsibility and knowledge of wine, beer & spirits.
Responsibilities
- Engage sophisticated clientele
- Inventory stocking/control
- Operate POS/cashier
- Maintain clean shop
- Opportunity to grow and take on more responsibility as performance/experience dictates
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Knowledge of wine, beer, spirits preferred
- Familiarity with POS/register
- Ability to build rapport with sophisticated clientele
- Attentive to detail
- Ability to climb ladders
- Clean driving record & ability to drive delivery van
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs over head, multiple times daily
- Ability to be on your feet for duration of shift
- Good eyesight, tidy appearance, good manners, team player
