Receptionist
Alpin Haus is looking for a high-energy Receptionist to join our team! The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming visitors, answering phones, directing customers and callers to appropriate destinations, and providing general clerical support.
Pay: $17-$19/hour
Job Duties:
- Welcome guests by greeting them with an always-friendly demeanor and assisting them with their inquiries; contact staff members to alert them to visitors arriving for appointments
- Answer telephone and provide information; forward calls to the proper person or department
- Maintain safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures; maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
- Ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of company
- Provide clerical and administrative support to the specified department team and to other departments as requested
Competencies
- Solid computer skills with experience using word processing and spreadsheet software
- Detail oriented, well organized, and able to perform multiple tasks concurrently
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills, and a friendly, professional demeanor to react positively to a wide range of customer interactions
- Experience in following verbal and written guidelines to perform job functions
Physical and Environmental Conditions
- Talking and hearing, sitting, repetitive hand motion, using hands to grasp, and reaching with arms/hands, are required.
- No exposure to adverse environmental conditions; work is performed in a typical office environment.
