We’re looking for a Civil Engineer-in-Training (EIT) with a strong foundation in transportation design and hands-on experience with OpenRoads Designer. What You’ll Do:
Support design efforts for transportation infrastructure projects (roadways, highways, transit corridors, etc.).
Perform roadway alignments, grading, and modeling using OpenRoads Designer under the direction of senior staff.
Collaborate with project managers and senior engineers on technical design tasks, production schedules, and QA/QC reviews.
Contribute to the preparation of plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and agency requirements.
Participate in occasional field visits to verify existing site conditions.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and registration as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT).
2–4 years of experience in roadway/highway design, with active involvement in OpenRoads Designer-based project delivery.
Proficiency with design platforms such as MicroStation, Civil 3D, and related transportation tools.
Understanding of line-item bid projects and transportation project workflows.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills.
Experience working with DOTs, local agencies, or transit authorities is a plus.
