Job Title: Engineering Data & Quality Support Technician

Location: Lakewood, NJ



Type: Contract

Compensation: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour

Hours: Full-Time, Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Data & Quality Support Technician to assist with engineering and quality data projects. This role offers hands-on experience working with engineering drawings, technical documentation, and data preparation for system implementation. It is an excellent opportunity for students or candidates interested in manufacturing, quality assurance, or engineering operations.

Responsibilities:

• Review and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Identify critical quality and product features from technical documents.
• Extract and organize engineering data into Excel spreadsheets and digital worksheets.
• Support data entry and preparation for ERP system implementation.
• Verify accuracy and consistency of technical information.
• Work independently while meeting project deadlines and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience or coursework related to quality inspection, manufacturing, or engineering preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred:

• Mechanical Engineering student enrolled in a 4-year degree program, or
• Student pursuing an Associate Degree in a technical or mechanical field.
• Interest in manufacturing, quality assurance, engineering, or operations.
