We have an immediate opening for a Senior Desktop Administrator with 5 or more years of experience to work with our existing staff members and end users. This team member should be proficient with client technologies such as desktop and laptop hardware, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, and other commercial oft-the-shelf software products. We are looking for a quick learner who is eager to grow their career in a fast growing company.

Areas Of Focus

  • End-user desktop/workstation support for all PC hardware, software, peripherals, printing, and network issues.
  • Helpdesk /Troubleshooting for applications on a Windows platform
  • Create new user accounts and administration of user accounts
  • Support existing business applications
  • Training and “how-to” instruction for end-users
  • Responsible escalation of issues to others in IT team as needed.
  • Handle escalated technical troubleshooting issues from employees
  • Monitor, triage, and assign new tickets to team
  • Act as a peer leader/team lead

Requirements

These skills are important to us:

  • 5 years or more of experience in an IT desktop admin or helpdesk position
  • Bachelors’ degree required
  • Familiarity with Windows client (Windows 7/8/10)
  • Familiarity with PC hardware and peripherals
  • Basic networking knowledge including an understanding of TCP/IP
  • Excellent problem-solving skills as well as good communication are required.
  • Experience in an office environment

Salary range for this position is $60,000-$65,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location.
