Senior Tax Associate

Opportunity for a driven entrepreneurial minded professional with partnership aspirations to join a regional leader, rapidly growing with a team focused culture. In addition, they are a top firm nationally for investment management creating a one stop financial management, tax and advisory practice for their clients. They are seeking a CPA/CPA track professional with at least 3 years of accounting, tax compliance, planning and strategy experience along with strong interpersonal skills and a client service skill set to join their growing practice.

What you will do:

• Develop relationships with firm clients acting as their trusted adviser on all accounting, tax compliance, planning and wealth management issues.
• Prepare/review 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120s, 1041, 990 and multiple state and local income tax return preparation.
• Interview clients to develop a deep understanding of of their overall financial makeup and goals in order to develop a comprehensive tax and wealth management strategy.
• Partner with the firm's wealth management team to develop and combine wealth management and tax strategies
• Lead and develop junior team members
• Lead communications with both clients, and federal (IRS), state and local tax officials.
• Network and develop relationships to promote firm awareness and drive practice growth.

What's required:

A CPA or parts and 3-5 years of related tax compliance and planning experience for high net worth individuals and small and medium sized businesses

Strong presentation and communication skills

QuickBooks and tax compliance software experience required

A desire to develop new relationships and help grow the firm
