Experience Required: 8–10 Years Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse/BI Developer to support business intelligence initiatives in a hybrid environment in Richmond, VA . This role focuses on developing complex SQL queries, BI reports, and ETL processes while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) is a major plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and scripts for analytics and reporting.

• Design, build, and maintain ETL processes using SSIS .

• Create and manage reports using SSRS and/or Power BI .

• Perform data modeling and work with various data source control systems ( GIT, TFS , etc.).

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, ensure data quality, and deliver meaningful insights.

• Work within Agile/Kanban frameworks for iterative delivery.

• Automate tasks using PowerShell or other scripting languages.

• Identify and resolve data quality and performance issues.

• Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience with complex SQL queries and data analytics .

  • 5+ years of SQL scripting/troubleshooting .

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with SSIS and data troubleshooting .

  • Experience with SSRS and/or Power BI for reporting solutions.

  • Familiarity with data modeling principles.

  • Experience with source control systems such as GIT or TFS.

  • Comfortable working in Agile/Kanban development environments.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

  • Scripting experience in PowerShell or similar languages.

  Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge or experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

  • Exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) in data platforms.

  Note:

  • This is a W2-only position.

  • Candidates must be local to Richmond, VA or willing to relocate.
