**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the logistics and distribution facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or access.
+ Monitor the premises for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns to management and/or emergency personnel as needed.
+ Assist with access control processes, verifying the credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
+ Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations during the shift.
+ Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and contractors to provide assistance as needed while upholding site policies.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Customer service experience is preferred.
+ Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
+ A guard card or license is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
