Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer where you will play a crucial role in enhancing safety procedures by moving materials and installing metal frames. This position involves mechanically installing metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools. The work environment is loud and fast-paced, requiring comfort with heavy lifting, up to 50 pounds repetitively.

Responsibilities

• Move materials and assist in installing metal frames to improve safety procedures.
• Mechanically install metal frames and fencing using hand and power tools.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, pulling, and pushing.
• Build and assemble metal frames and gating in a robotics setting.

Essential Skills

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanically inclined with a background in general labor, construction, production, or carpentry.
• Ability to use basic tools such as hammers, drills, and pallet jacks.
• Physically capable of repetitive work involving heavy lifting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Experience working with various types of hand and power tools.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Capability to lift, carry, push, or pull equipment up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

The job is based in a climate-controlled warehouse environment, which is loud and can be chaotic. Shifts include 1st shift from 4:30am to 1:00pm and 2nd shift from 12:30pm to 9pm, Monday through Friday, with potential work on Saturdays. Flexibility to work before or after scheduled shifts is required.

This is a Contract position based out of Cartaret, New Jersey.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
