Chef de Cuisine
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef de Cuisine to join our busy, upscale restaurant in Hoboken. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a talented kitchen team while working closely with acclaimed chef Cliff Crooks in a fast-paced, high-quality culinary environment. What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in an upscale or fine dining restaurant.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and develop a kitchen team.
- Passion for seasonal ingredients, quality execution, and exceptional guest experiences.
- Proven ability to manage kitchen operations, including food quality, inventory, labor, and food costs.
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest culinary standards.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent execution of every dish.
- Work alongside Chef Cliff Crooks on menu development and culinary innovation.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the culinary team.
- Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency.
- Manage ordering, inventory, scheduling, and cost controls.
- Foster a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture.
