A multi-billion dollar financial services company located near Sayreville, NJ, is looking for a Sr. Accountant. This is a hybrid opportunity (3 days in office/2 work from home)

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review quarterly financial statements, investor capital account statements, and supporting workpapers.
- Reconcile, review, and manage cash balances.
- Deliver investor communications via our online investor portal.
- Book and review journal entries.
- Prepare and send capital call and distribution notices to investors.
- Own processes beginning to end and manage every aspect of your assigned Funds’ operations.
- Assist with the annual audit by providing supporting documents to our external auditors.
- Compile and analyze data to be presented to senior management
Qualifications:
- 2+ years experience in private equity accounting, with public accounting experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Ability to operate effectively with limited supervision and are a self-starter.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work well independently and within a team atmosphere.
- Passed the CPA exam or are actively pursuing.
