The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills and professional experience.
Active, valid NJ Registered Nurse license required
BSN required
OCN certification required within one year
One year of oncology experience required
Two years of oncology experience preferred
For at least one calendar year, must demonstrate one of the following: Current cancer-specific certification in the nurses specialty by and accredited certification program, OR Ongoing education by earning 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours each accreditation cycle of 3years so 12 cancer-related nursing contact hours per year,

Infant, Pediatric, Adolescent adult and Geriatric,
Anticipate problems that might arise in frequently occurring clinical situation,
Collaborates well with physicians and other health care team members to determine appropriate interventions,
Administering & Monitoring Therapeutic Interventions & Regimens
Perform, adapt and safely demonstrate procedures required by patients according to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital policies and procedures,
Administers medications accurately and safely,
Documents according to the Nursing Process and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Standards of Care,
Performs, demonstrates and documents technical skills specific to the nursing unit,
Monitoring & ensuring the Quality of Health Care Practices
Ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care by facilitating appropriate responses from other healthy team members participating in quality monitoring activities,
Obtains new physician prescriptions to more appropriately reflect care regimens,
Collaborates with members of the health care team,
Attends unit-based performance improvement analysis meetings, identifying important aspects of care, and contributing to the maintenance and improvement of care,
