The Role

Were looking for aSenior Software Engineerwhos equally excited about building new features and rolling up their sleeves to fix tough bugs or optimize existing systems. Youll be a key contributor in both creating whats next and keeping whats built running smoothly.

This role is perfect for an engineer who enjoys seeing the big picture from designing new capabilities to improving stability, performance, and automation behind the scenes.

What Youll Do

• Develop new featuresthat make our products faster, smarter, and more reliable.
• Diagnose and fix issuesacross complex systems ensuring smooth performance for users and other developers alike.
• Build, enhance, and maintainautomation frameworksand test suites usingPython, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Collaborate closely with other engineers and product teams to translate ideas and requirements into working software.
• Install and configureIndex Engines productsin Linux environments, including creating and managing virtual machines.
• Implement and refine automation strategies to validate functionality, performance, and stability.
• Troubleshoot automation pipelines, identify bottlenecks, and improve efficiency through creative problem-solving.
• Contribute toarchitecture and CI/CD integration, ensuring automation is embedded in the development process.

What You Bring

• Bachelors degreein Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience withPythonand a solid understanding ofLinux environments.
• Skilled inBash scripting, SSH operations, and basicSQLusage.
• Familiar withREST APIs,Postman, andcURL.
• Experience withUI testing frameworkslike Playwright, Selenium, or similar tools.
• Comfortable withGit/GitHubandJirafor version control and task management.
• Bonus points if youve worked withAWS,Docker, orAnsible Playbooks.
